The Company sponsored and attended the inaugural AGM for the Perth Protein Group, a special interest group of the Australian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB).
Held in Albany, Western Australia, the PPG AGM focused on protein research by students and early-mid career researchers around Western Australia. Two notable protein scientists, Associate Professor Archa Fox (UWA) and Professor Nigel Laing (Harry Perkins Institute) also gave plenary lectures about research in their laboratories.
The winner of the Proteomics International Poster Prize was Bence Olasz for his poster ‘Regulating plant intracellular tRNA import’.
