“A BLOOD test to predict the onset of diabetic kidney disease up to four years in advance has been shown to work in a global study of 3000 people.
The test, which uses a protein to detect the condition early in people with type 2 diabetes, has been developed by Perth-based Proteomics International. Patients predicted by the PromarkerD test to be at high right of chronic kidney disease were 13.5 times more likely than the low-risk group to develop the disease.”
