PromarkerD at EDEC 2021

PromarkerD, the only low cost, high speed test capable of predicting the onset of diabetic kidney disease, exhibited at the 11th Emirates Diabetes & Endocrine Virtual Congress (EDEC2021) from the 4th – 6th of March.

DKD is the leading cause of end-stage kidney disease worldwide. Over 15% of United Arab Emirates citizens have diabetes, approximately 1/3 of whom already have DKD. Most people with reduced kidney function do not have symptoms.

PromarkerD can predict DKD up to 4 years in advance. A simple test measures 3 plasma biomarkers and 3 clinical factors.
